Who We Are

The Don’t Mess With Drugs (DMWD) Foundation is a charity and not for profit organisation founded by Mr Daniel Prasad who is also its Chief Executive Officer.

DMWD operates in several areas in NSW under the terms of a Trust Deed that is governed by a group of appointed trustees.

The day to day operations are overseen by Mr Prasad who also supervises a team of 10 staff members (permanent/part-time and casuals) including a growing group of volunteers.

DMWD was formally set up as an organisation in April 2016 after initially operating as an informal local community group.

DMWD’s ATO Registration is ABN is 53 762 978 758.
DMWD’s NSW Charity Fundraising Authority number is CFN 24549.
DMWD is registered with the ACNC (Australian Charities and Not for Profit Commission) effective 1st May 2017.

DMWD has one very simple VISION & MISSION: To eliminate and prevent the misuse and abuse of drugs in the community.

DMWD’s key focus is preventing young people, in particular students and young sportspeople,  from using illicit drugs, misuse and abuse of all other drugs including prescription and performance enhancing drugs.

DMWD does this in 7 simple ways:

6. Free Legal,Financial & Representation Services
7. Public Advocacy
