DMWD Foundation Founder & Chairman Daniel Prasad announced today to establish a new charity to be registered with the ACNC. Daniel Prasad said that this was necessary to ensure current and future statutory requirements are met as DMWD expands is community services.
The second charity will be named DMWD Benevolent Society and will undertake specific community needs of the most needy and disadvantaged people in the 16-24 age group who are impacted by alcohol, drugs and substance use and misuse.
The Chairman said most things would remain the same and that DMWD would operate under a broad DMWD structure which both entities undertaking more specific objectives in the community.
He added DMWD felt obligated to offer such services based on it current community involvement and feedback from the community.
